2 things ring to mind with this -- 1, should I ever have kids, I will bring them watching and listening to everything I grew up with, this includes William Castle movies. 2, one of my dreams has always been to own an old school theater like you described. A little bit of a revival house, but also an independent theater to help support DIY filmmakers looking to break the mold. This theater would of course have a grand marquee requiring large letters and the smell of classic as you walk in (I've been told that classic smell that reminds me of The Castle Theater I started at is mold....). Anywho, Happy birthday! Thank you for inspiration!.

This message is for Terry Castle. I am the 9 year old boy who met you at the Burbank Monsterpaloosa convention almost two weeks ago. I purchased your book and read it (Fearmaker Family Matters). I enjoyed your book very much. I thought the twist in the plot was original and clever. The ending was definitely a surprise. It reminded me of your father's style. Your book was very descriptive and detailed which my mom totally appreciates. She thinks authors should always paint pictures with their words and you did.
p.s. I followed the script of House on Haunted Hill while watching the movie. The changes he made were good for the movie.

An excellent film. We don't often find "family" films that my husband will actually join in to watch. He was just as captivated as our daughter and equally delighted in the historical significance. Scorsese nailed this one.
